Willie Lee McCall, age 92, passed away on June 8, 2023, at Autumn Care of Raeford in Hoke County, NC. He was born on May 22, 1931, in Bladen County, NC, to Ella Bell McCall and Henry Branch. Willie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Stevetta McCall, who passed away in 1984. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories. Willie dedicated many years of his life to his work at J A Lovell Hospital, where he touched the lives of countless individuals with his kindness and compassion. His dedication to serving others was evident in every aspect of his life.

Willie is survived by his daughter, Lynette Hampton, residing in Wadsworth, IL, and his sons, Mark McCall of Kenosha, WI, and Edric McCall of Dumfries, VA.  His memory will live on through them, as they carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and perseverance. He is also survived by his sisters, Bernese Branch and Betty Branch of Lumberton, NC, who shared a special bond with Willie. In addition to his siblings, Willie is survived by a special friend, Martha Walker.

Willie was blessed with eight grandchildren, whose lives were enriched by his presence. He will forever hold a special place in their hearts, and they will cherish the memories they shared together.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A private ceremony to celebrate Willie's life will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Greater First Baptist Cemetery. Cedar Creek Community, Fayetteville, NC.
